NCARB Launches New Website

About NCARB's New Web Site:

The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) launched a redesigned public web site in late July. We approached this web site redesign from a customer service perspective, surveying our Record holders and members for their input. We found some common themes in the information we gathered:

You want updated content on the site—content that's not redundant
You want the site more intuitively organized
You want the search tool to be easier to find
You want the site less text-heavy, with more visual interest
You want the content of the site to be easier to understand

The web site is meant to be a resource for you, and we believe that it's now more intuitive, more user-friendly, and more visually interesting than ever before. However—it's what you think that counts. There is a "Feedback" button at the upper right on every page. Let us know what you think after you've used it a bit. Send us your suggestions. Let us know how we can serve you even better!

In the coming months we will be re-tooling the "My NCARB Record" section—to make it specific to every customer's unique user experience—as well as the "Members' Only" section for the architectural registration board members and staff of every jurisdiction. We plan on adding some bells and whistles to help you find the information you need quickly and easily each time you log in.

Please take a moment to test-drive the new site. Then, let us know what you think! We hope that the web site is a great resource in your career as an architect!
