ARE 3.1 - Final Days

The last day to schedule an ARE 3.1 appointment is 27th June 2009.
The last day to take an ARE 3.1 division is 30th June 2009.

If you do not complete ARE 3.1, you will be transitioned to ARE 4.0

IDP Six Month Rule is 20 DAYS AWAY

DON'T FORGET!

The six month reporting rule goes into effect on July 1st, 2009 for all those who have NOT established an NCARB record.

Those that have established an NCARB record BEFORE June 30th, 2009 will have until July 1st 2010 to submit ALL of their experience. You have a one year grace period to adjust to the new reporting requirements. On July 1st, 2010, you will be required to report 6 months at a time.

If you establish an NCARB record AFTER July 1st, 2009, you will be required to submit 6 months at a time. So if you’ve been working for 3 years, and you wait until July 1st of 2009 to start your record, you can only report 6 months. End of story.

Emerging Professionals Companion - UPDATE

The following is a message from NCARB:

The Emerging Professionals Companion website is currently in a transitional phase as we work to update content, links, and other resources. The new content and credit submission process will be live on July 1, 2009.

The EPC is no longer accepting submissions through the EPC website. In order to submit for credit you must email idp@aia.org. Give you contact information, NCARB number, degree, university, and current employment information. A tracking number will be given to you; this is not a member number. Activation of a tracking number may take up to 3 weeks. Once activated, go to http://www.aia.org/education/index.htm

Click on "Sign In" (located on the right) as if to find a transcript, and then type in your tracking number. Once entered, the link to the self report form is located below the yellow box. Fill out and submit the form as required.
